Welcome to Dallas, Texas! A well deserved vacation down South!
My brother hooked us all up with 3rd row tickets for Game 5 Mavericks vs Suns NBA playoffs! How sweet it was being so close to the Mavs bench and within shouting distance of Mark Cuban (owner)! The Mavs won with Dirk dropping 50! I made a few cameos on national TV for those that had their VCRs/DVRs running :) Those Bam-Bams are powerful!

A picture of the American Airlines arena from outside. Who can forget the sudden downpour of rain a few minutes prior to tipoff. All those Mavs fans body painted in green/blue looking for a free ticket were suddenly tan again!
When in Northern Texas you have to stop in at a rodeo. So we did over in Mesquite, TX. It's more entertaining than you'd think with bull riding, chariot racing, sheep riding (for the 4 year olds) etc.
This is the exact spot Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK back in 1963 over in Dealey Plaza (Grassy Knoll below). Sure no cameras allowed in the Book Depository, but you guys needed to see this!
Yeehaw it's Stockyards time! So it's called the greater Dalles/Fort Worth metro area, so we drove west and into the Western Stockyards. Nice atmosphere with cowboy hats, outdoor music, shops and more. I remember being back at the White Elephant with J&J.
We visited Amy over in Frisco, TX for a minor league baseball game. Such a great time catching up and a beautiful ballpark!
Irving, TX where the Cowboys play!
We found Valley Ranch, TX where the Cowboys have their practice facilities and mini-camps!
And yes, I drove due north into Oklahoma! Just had to as I needed another state. Jen and Ken you can't blame me :)
