Welcome to Houston, TX!

Jen Jen and I celebrated my birthday in Houston, Texas! We had a blast! Here we are at Minute Maid park as we watched the Astos beat up the Reds! Home of the All-Star game this year, Astros Stadium has a train that chugs along the outfield wall(look top center) when an Astro player hit a homerun! How did Hildago do that game Jen? heeh yeah baby!

Did you know Houston is the largest city in Texas and the 4th most populated city in the USA? Anyway, we figured that out from our taxi driver who took us to the Johnson Space Center (NASA)! Here we jumped on a tram car and viewed many rockets and space equipment! Very cool for a kid that went to Space Camp when he was 16!

This may look like an ordinal room, but no way! This is MOCR2, the mission control room for NASA operations from 1960's to 1996! All the space movies like Apollo 13 etc were filmed to replicate this room which turned going to the moon into reality! "Houston, we have a problem". Failure is not an option!

What's this picture doing here! Yeah baby, Jen and I took advantage of the hot tub at our "Gateway like" residence! Spending a cool, crisp 2 hours per day in this bubble bath (with a few pool to hot tub races sprinkled in! :) ), the hotel was well worth the cost! Be ware of sketchy old guys trying to join you on Saturday's at 3am! Was the hot tub worth it? :)

Here is the bar/club we partied in after the Astros game! We went to the Ruby Red room and once the DJ got his act together Jen and I were lighting up the dance floor! (Sure that bridal party was jealous!). The Mercury Club on Main Street is also a hot stop in Houston! We both had a wonderful time and are working on "weekend get-a-way 2" aka Mission Cancun!
