Welcome to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina!!

Welcome to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! Davis and I decided to chase some Southern Belles yet again! (Yay for ruffled skirts!) If you head out here, make sure you find a place in North Myrtle Beach - that's where the all the hot sports are[and CH ;)] ). Go to "the Pavilion", and "Broadway at the Beach" for clubs and entertainment! Hail Southern ladies - they are spunky! :) Waiting for my flight down on Friday, I randomly bumped into Stephanie (from Accenture) who just moved in to the area! How crazy is that? Because of the rain planes were delayed and I was forced to run 50 gates in 2 minutes to make my connecting flight out of Kentucky!

Saturday night I became a Cowboy! hehe definately a first - I got to ride a mechanical bull! Basically there's this bull in the middle of the hottest club in Myrtle Beach - Club Kryptonite(look above)! So they're broadcasting live from 97.7FM and if you dare you can try to stay on the bull for a song! I'll always remember Outkast - Roses. I'm happy to say I stayed on! My favorite club songs from the trip: 1.) Nina Sky - Move Your Body 2.) Ying Yang Twins - SaltShaker!

Being at the golf capital of the country, it was inevitable that we'd get a round in! (I love the fact that they have golf carts for a Par 3 course!) Davis really surprised me with his skills being 2 years removed from any golf action. (Dang that 8th hole...maybe the alligator will spit the ball back out!).

We took a little time out from our "Notre Dame football games" to snap a picture of the Myrtle beachfront. This trip convinced me I want to move South and live near the beach! (maybe not here, but near!). It was incredible how many people walked up to you and wanted to have a religious chat! Cheryl, this is why they call it "the Bible belt". Be ware of Lynard Skynyrd look a likes "sporting" mullet style haircuts! They give bad directions! hehe

I was anxious to try the native food of the land! hehe, So I definately had a few chicken breasts and steaks. Here is Thorny's noteworthy steakhouse in the area! Jen you'd be happy to know I ate some seafood being so close to the Atlantic! Now Sonic is a common fast food restaurant in the South. Get this it's Drive - In with a 50s feel to it. Basically you drive into your spot, order and a waitress brings out your order in a few minutes (where's the rollar skates!?!?).
