Road Trip!

What happens when you put a spunky dallas cowgirl cheerleader and a traveling man together for a weekend? Crazy adventures and definately nothing either of us could ever plan! (although we try hard! hehe). Here we are in West Haven, CT at the ocean-front! In a nutshell we did Hartford, CT to Amherst, MA, to New Haven(Wallingford!!), CT to New York City to Washington DC! It was soo great to see you again young lady!

Sunday we drove I-95 down to NYC and stopped at the Bronx for a Yankees game! (thanks for the "head-start" Marriott Rewards' points and spur of the moment thinking can accomplish!). Who can ever forget us spraying for spiders and locking ourselves outside, only to have me "break into the house" through a window! Or near death experiences on I-91 with a Jeep that's really got 9 lives! Or partying at UMASS and my classic Air Hockey victory (leading 6-1, I switch sides and win 7-6! :) ). Right Josie?

So that Saturday we took a break from the beach (and Yale Univeristy) to visit this make-shift carnival. (Beach, carnival, seafood place nearby...sounds like a Dawson Creek episode!). We planned on coming back after dinner at Jimmies, but Mer had other plans (I wanted that NY Strip steak!!!!). hehe I will say we both learned how to "wait" this weekend, but as always things worked out in the end! :)
