Welcome to New Orleans!!!!

Scott in the Deep South -- New Orleans, Louisiana to be specific! First night chillin' on Bourbon street!! Throughout these pics you'll see beads on us all! Only in New Orleans is wearing beads accepted anytime, anywhere! I'm holding a "hand grenade", the most powerful drink in NO.
The Madri Gras crew! We are chillin' at the famous Pat O'Brien's! It's Valentine's Day so our ladies are decorated with roses! We all tried their "Hurricane drink" 7 shots in a glass! wow wakes you up! The night got REALLY interesting after that!
Here is a shot after we got onto a balcony! Downtown Bourbon street! It's crazy how many bars/clubs there are on this street! What people will do for beads! (I made um work for their 5 cent beads! hehe).
I told you the ladies were very friendly in the south! Sorry I had to put that lovely grey star over her "precious spot" , but if you take a trip to New Orleans during Madri Gras this is the norm! My bags are already packed for a second trip! hehe
haha great shot of me infront of Hustler's gentleman's club! I love that hat(stole it off some drunk guys head!). The story goes like this! We'd been to Pat O'Brien blah blah blah. So we were walking past the many gentlemen clubs on the strip. Well, the girls are dieing to go into one and who am I to turn down 5 ladies from a good show! We get in there and the "performers" are hot, but I told my girls that they weren't spunky. So what do you know, 2 of our ladies get up on the stage and begin to shake it!!!!! Guys are throwing dollars at them! It was amazing! Good job! Amatuer night indeed! haha :)

Harrah's Casino in downtown New Orleans! Wow that was as crowded as Atlantic City, NJ during the weekend! The cool thing about this place was that all of us that went won big! Drinks and cab fare on me the rest of the night! :)

Great shot of the city's skyline. Since the foundation in New Orleans is weak there aren't many high rise buildings! (They love Robert E. Lee here!).
Bare with me I'm going to tell a historical/sightseeing story.<history lesson> FYI, New Orleans is below sea level! What I am showing is a picture of a cemetary and what is interesting is that people are not buried in the ground here since they would "float back to the ground" so they use these above ground coffins! </end history lesson>

The great Mississippi River (did you sing along as you spelt M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I? hehe) Woohoo the Susquehanna bows to the mighty Miss! :)

Let's end with a parade! Cause during Madri Gras week they have these throughout the city!(they've surrounded us with the parade route!) We actually got to walk in it as people cheered on (thanks Melissa for showing us your Read kids!) Amazing time as those floats chuck hundreds of beads out to the onlookers! Bands play much like 'Drumline' and cheerleaders prance around to uplift my spirits even more! :)
