Salt Lake City

Welcome to Salt Lake City! Rich and I decided to visit Becky in Mormon country for some R&R and sightseeing (and Wyoming) ;)

Oh yeah, who got Rich and Becks to disregard the "Do Not Trespass" sign and totally rout the BYU Cougars football field! :) That's us getting a pic next to the field goal post. Immediately following this I ran back a 100 yard kickoff for a TD

Some of the houses downtown near Temple Square in Salt Lake City. That one red one was build by a rich guy who traveled a lot so his wife made him build her the most beautiful house in the city while he was gone. The capital building in the background.

Temple Square (this is where all the brides and grooms get their pics taken). It's near the Tabernacle. We have a funny shot of us holding Becky up upon request. I'm keeping this PG-13.

Notice the "Y" on the mountain. So it's something BYU (Provo) students love to do - make signs on the mountains. There's a U and I think a B somewhere along the Wastch range. This is the view from campus. Not too shabby (go Org Behavior class).

We went to Wyoming!! Yes a must do on the trip was to cruise along I-80 (swirving may be more accurate) and visit Wyoming. Great scenary and besides the traffic jam on the way home (which turned into moral implication discussions) was fun. Park City on the way back and "the view".

A hot view from 20,000 feet up. SLC and the surrounding mountains. "You are now free to move about the country!"

The Great Salt Lake!!! And yes it's true it's VERY hard to drown as the water is so salty you are buoyant. And look at the seagulls, Utah's state bird as they helped rescue the Mormon's first harvest by eating the crickets.

I wasn't kidding. Look at that water!
